The adventures of mysticboy - post2
All the things I want to say come out as smothered sounds originating from a numb core, twisted and tangled around itself, stifled in its growth to the light. It seems not long ago, when I could slice the air with a swing of my hand,... but the light is blurred and all my strength is tied down, stretched to the corners of the earth, when Im drowning in honey.
The adventures of mysticboy - post1
The glass walls i've built around me crumble, exposed to reality and the monsters surround, again. In overwhelming despair and unbearable agony, the words hope and faith seem like dreams we could have afforded to dream a long long time ago. But the familiarity of this scene is reassuring, lighting to flames my lust for death.

konoha: the ideal society?
The village hidden in the leaves is home to some of today's most loved heroes. The shinobis of konoha. The setting for the story of naruto is a society that combines both mordern and olden values and presents itself comparable to real world situations,.. be it gettin yorself some fast food (ramen) or taking advantage of computerised facilities in a full-fledged hospital. But they lack the same degree of advancement in fields such as communication and transport, which in a bigger view is a form of communication itself, for the following arguments. Of course, this results in each village being let to itself rather than cordinating their advancement with other villages and so there is no tangible changes in people's beliefs like religion, loyalty towards their homeland, etc. Subsequently, discrimination dissapears, except for maybe the differences between the clans ( chouji's clan, kiba's clan, shino's clan are singular) but the mutual feeling of unity for the cause of the village overrides them all. Each individual is fully free to express their indiviuality in how they dress, how they fight and how they live. Of course every society has certain individuals who form its backbone and the village stands tall in the presence of the konoha shinobi and the ruler, the hokage. Values are instilled in each shinobi or at least tried to, as in the rare cases of Orochimaru and D'ozu. The only really bad products to come out of here are the beforementioned two, among them D'zou is a threat to konoha only because he feels that he can take care of it better himself and Orochimaru too became a rogue ninja only after his application for the post of Hokage was rejected. The people live without too much social constraints, but then even if it were liberal or not, they wouldn't have known because there is no other society to compare themselves to. However, is this enough to say konoha is comparable to the ideal society, well the only thing missing from everyday is the mordern office jobs and communication. So, lets just say ignorance is bliss!

take me back to sunday
a few years ago, possibly on a sunday like today, past the lazily busy streets i was probably checking my mail or browsing through some random page listening to whatever yahoo!videos was playin for me it hit me, the most beautiful sounds ive heard articulately describe exactly why they wanted to break you down so badly in the worst way. makedamnsure was a totaly new sound to me, it wasnt what cool was supposed to be, it wasnt mike shinoda rapping to the sound of rhythmic guitar and searing vocals all choregraphed perfectly with the latest technology, the voice behind this mic., didnt tell you he was cool because he probably wasn't, he didnt preach, he only talked or rather vented a little, but with words the drew a vivid picture of everyday life and the worries that trouble everyday hearts.
"You've got this new head filled up with smoke
I've got my veins all tangled close
To the jukebox bars you frequent
The safest place to hide "
i said vivid didnt i? who do you think this would appeal to? equally imaginative, urban, young, frustrated, lost, emo, angry, hopeless people? well, who else is in? but in their inimitable way they they say what they say with courage, intelligence and old-fashioned straightforwardness that can be seen clearly through the decorational fog that is their music and lyrics!
For example, see if any of these quotes will strike you when ur driving in the city in a winter night playing the radio at any random station, and you will know what i mean by their courage, intelligence and straightforwardness:
"So, we're talking forever ..And you almost feel better ..But, betters no excuse for tonight ..You see, it's never been enough ..Just to leave all you gave up ..But, its never good enough to feel right "-THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS PROOF (I KNOW YOU KNOW)
"Something real, make it timeless, ..An act of God and nothing less will be accepted. ..Now if you're calling me out, ..Then count me out. " - DIVINE INTERVENTION
"Who's to say you have to go? (I could go all night)..Well say you have to go (I could go all...)..To hell with you and all your friends..To hell with you and all your friends, it's on" - A DECADE UNDER THE INFLUENCE
"She says live up to your first impression ..Well my best side was your worst invention " - ONE EIGHTY BY SUMMER
the intensity of their emotions and the mercilessness of their lyrics will certainly captivate any listener who can relate to it.
